Our Statement of Beliefs

The importance statements of faith or belief :

Every denomination,  religious group, and religious web site should consider creating a statement of belief or faith and displaying it prominently. This is particularly important among Christian groups who have a wide variety of beliefs. These differences between the many Christian churches are so important to their founders that such a statement should be mandatory. Because this is not done, many church members have no idea what the doctrines of their church are.

The Church believes that all religions are man-made and not god-made. We believe that the general teachings of Christianty cause more problems than they cure. They teach that Christianity, while usually staffed by well-meaning individuals, its based on error and myth.
Following, done in the 80s, is a brief attempt to mention some of our church's ideas:

1: We believe in Mother/Father God as the one eternal reality.
2: We reverence the Earth, that great Matriarch who is the source of all life.
3: We believe in Masters, Avatars, and gurus who can guide the lives of individuals and the destiny of the world.
4: We believe in another dimension, the astral plane or the spirit world, and that we dwell there just as we dwell on the physical plane.
5: We believe the Bible, the Bhagavad Gita, and other scriptures are divinely inspired and, when understood in the context of their revelation and translated correctly, can be said to the "The Word of God."
6: We believe the world is entering a new age of consciousness, the Age of Aquarius, adn the concept of a war between Good and Evil belongs to the old, Piscean Age.
7: We believe that the greatest threat to humanity today is government and its attempts to rule hman thought and activity, and those people who fail to control their government will be controlled by it.
8: We believe that it is the divine right of each individual to follow the dictates of his or her conscience, but no one has the right to force others to his will.
9: We believe that there are many things as yet unknown or unexplained, but humanity is continually growing in awareness.
