Dr. John reveals his philosophy

The world is full of people and organizations who lie to you -  to take your money after convincing you that you can get rich buying their program or product, to take your money by promising you that their product or program can make you thinner or better looking.

These people are evil because they are lying to you, but even worse are those people who deceive you even though they are not lying to you. These are the hucksters of spirituality.  Some actually know that they are lying, but so many more actually believe the crap they are peddling.

A good salesman is someone who believes in his product and it is hard to resist a sincere salesman.

So these churches and spiritual organizations flourish, while their members are no better off than before.

I am Dr. John Rodgers.

I was a member of the Mormon Church for 20 years.  When I finally realized that the Mormon Church was not God's true religion, that is was just founded by men, like all the other churches in the world, I was hurt, lost, confused.  To me, the Mormon Church was the most rational, most logical Christian Church in the world. So what was left for me?.

I tried the Eastern religions and found that they contained much of the truth that I had found in the Mormon Church, but with less nonsense. But, as I grew and studied, I found that many of these Eastern religions were laden down with meaningless ritual and baseless tradition.

The religions of the world try to make us believe that the world is not as we see it, that there are spiritual forces at work, forces that we cannot see or control. Whether we are speaking about Christianity or the Eastern religions, this applies.

Just as the Creationists turn their back on the scientists who insist that the world is more than seven thousand years old and that some sore of evolutionary process led to the existence of mankind, so most of the world turns its back on reality and clings to these fantasies of a battle between Good and Evil.

It took me many years to see through this illusion.

In my classes each Sunday morning, I teach students how the world really is, and how to see it that way. These leads to a more loving, spiritual concept of God.

I invite you to come out next Sunday morning at 10:30 and listen to what I have to say, then make up your own mind.

I hold my classes at the New Age Community Church, 6418 S. 39th Avenue in Phoenix  Phone  602-441-4401

I would love to talk with you.
