COLOR AND ITS HEALING PROPERTIES

Human vision is utterly amazing in its ability to receive and process a wealth of information concerning levels of light intensity, colors, motion, and stereoscopic depth of field. However, as wonderful as our eyesight is, we are able to see only electromagnetic waves between 400 and 700 nanometers in wavelength.

Young Isaac Newton in 1666 used a prism to break visible white light into the rainbow colors of the spectrum, giving impetus to the development of what is now the vast science of optics. Discovery of the wave nature of light soon led to the realization that our universe is permeated with electromagnetic waves ranging in wavelength over at least 16 orders of magnitude - from ultra low-frequency radio waves, which are tens of kilometers in wavelength, to cosmic rays with wave crests and troughs only a millionth of a millionth meter apart.

Just in our century, science has quickly extended the range of the eye for explorative purposes. Many different kinds of electronic sensing instruments now tell us vastly more about the cosmos than our eyes alone can tell us directly.

Light from the sun arrives at the top of the earth's atmosphere at a power level of about one kilowatt per square meter. It is this heat and light from a modest star (surface temperature only 5500 degrees C), that all life processes on earth are ultimately driven. Without the sun's constant energy input, our planet would quickly radiate away its latent heat and freeze us and everything else very solid in short order.

Heat and light from the sun are obvious, but we are unaware of cosmic rays penetrating our bodies at the rate of perhaps 10 per second. Nor do we realize that radio and television signals from a hundred stations fill our living rooms. Many of these "rays" pass through our bodies

A Perception of Two Lights

In my imaged universe all things are two, centered by me, for all things extend from the dual, two-way moving pendulum of My thinking, and My thinking is two. I, the one Light, center the two Lights which register My thinking, But I am not those two Lights, nor am I My thinking.
Behold in Me the Trinity, the One extended unto the two, the One Creator centering the extended two.

In My imaged universe all effect is also two; all thermal measures and the weights of things; the Two of matter, and of time, and direction; the Two of color, and of the elements; the Two of the wave of my thinking, and its expression. The very One Light of Me is extended into the Two Lights of my imagining.

Naught is there in all My universe which is not part and counter-part pairs of things, equal and opposite counterpart pairs of creating and repeating things, each seeking to unbalance each, and each forever seeking balance in each.

For behold, I am Light, but the universe of My imagining is dual light; Light divided and multiplied by common root directly and inversely applied to all things which forever move two ways between the two extended Lights of their centering One to express My knowing by My thinking.

unimpeded. Light waves, radio waves, heat signals, X-rays, and the like, are electromagnetic (EM) radiation - all forms of which can transmit energy and carry useful information even across vast reaches of "empty" space.

In this century has also come the realization that we can equally well describe light and other EM radiation as if it were corpuscular in nature. EM radiation is a result of moving electrical charges (currents), and all forms of EM radiation can be described mathematically as consisting of streaming photons. Each photon constituting a "particle" of light has an energy equal to Planck's constant times the speed of light divided by the wavelength. (Photons are very small, yet the human eye is sufficiently sensitive that we can sometimes detect even a single light photon with dark-adapted eyes).

which states that light always follows the path that takes the shortest time to its destination. Planck augmented Leibniz’s principle of least action with the notion that action comes in wholes or quanta, whose unit is constant. Therefore, notwithstanding the common notion that energy is quantized, it is in reality not energy but action that comes in quanta.

Of the principle of least action, Planck states:

“The photons which constitute a ray of light behave like intelligent human beings: out of all possible curves they always select the one which will take them most quickly to their goal… The historical development of theoretic research in physics had led in a remarkable way to a formulation of the principle of physical causality which possesses an explicitly teleological character.”

Teleology, the concept of purposefulness, is not a category of explanation that is normally used in science, and in fact it is excluded from scientific discourse. However, in discussing the nature of light, especially when it is associated with the principle of least action, the notion of teleology gains pertinence, pointing towards a possible underlying cosmic reality: Consciousness.

Consciousness is the source of everything. Consciousness is eternal, unlike this world which is not eternal. Many times the sun, the Earth, and the solar systems disappear, and again spring up. We are in the midst of such thought in eternity. The sun, the moon, and all the planets appear and vanish: they all die and then again they are created. We are told by the ancients to view things from this viewpoint: Everything is temporary. not only this living body, but the entire human race, the animals, the trees, the planet, and even the sun. All will vanish, and again spring up. Creation, dissolution, creation, dissolution - it will continue forever in the domain of misconception. At the same time, there is another world which is eternal - the consciousness of God or Light.

Light is pure cosmic action, and the photon, its ultimate unit, is the quantum of action. Action is the indivisible whole that ontologically precedes space, time, and matter. Measurement applies only to the attributes that appear to be produced by light in its various phenomenal manifestations, which states that light always follows the path that takes the shortest time to its destination. Light is the unitary, unmeasurable, and purposeful whole that engenders the universe. Light is required for measurement, but light itself is unmeasurable. Light is seeing, but it is not seen. A photon, upon being detected, ceases to exist. All that can be measured as composing light are only its “parts” or attributes, but we cannot construct light by combining them. Light is the primary essence and reality, whereas its attributes are conceptual units or descriptors used to measure the outward visible behaviors of light.

Only that which is divisible can be measured and quantified. Thus, that which is indivisible is unmeasurable and unquantifiable. Light or the photon or the quantum of action is in itself such an indivisible whole. Therefore, any description of it is bound to be incomplete, no combinations of which can describe the whole in its wholeness. In this regard, light is like the Tao, of which Lao Tsu states, “The Tao Eternal is beyond words.” And like the Tao, it is only through the experience of spiritual enlightenment that one comes to realize what light qua light is in its wholeness.

Universal Cosmogony is based on Walter Russell’s 39-day-and-night experience, in 1921, of such cosmic illumination. According to Universal Cosmogony, which is the interpretation of Russell’s original insight, eternal Stillness or Equilibrium is the first order reality of the universe whereof un-manifest Light is the first order nonmaterial Substance, which is Spirit or Mind of metaphysics. Phenomenal light, the subject of scientific study, is the binary action-reaction motion of the un-manifest Light caused by the thinking of the Cosmic Mind.

What, scientifically speaking, is the thinking of the Cosmic Mind? Super-string theory, the latest theory in physics, which elegantly integrates quantum theory and general relativity theory within a single conceptual framework, proposes that the ultimate elementary ingredients of the universe are infinitesimal one-dimensional filaments analogous to thin rubber bands vibrating in resonant vibratory patterns inside an eleven dimensional space/time, from which different elementary masses and force charges emerge. Universal Cosmogony goes even further, claiming that there is nothing in reality save abstract resonant vibratory patterns, which we perceive as the illusion of space, time, and matter. Therefore, the thinking of the Cosmic Mind is the self-creativity found at the most fundamental level of the universe. Universal Cosmogony explicates the idea that motion arises from Stillness.

Light is the substance of the Cosmic Mind or Consciousness, which is in Stillness or Equilibrium as un-manifest but in motion or action-reaction as phenomenon. The absolute eternal balance or symmetry that exists as Stillness is the primordial cosmic pattern that underlies both the un-manifest and the manifest (phenomenal) universes. Energy is in and of the Cosmic Mind that patterns the phenomenal universe. Energy manifests in simulation as phenomena or matter, but it is not within phenomena or matter. Space, time, and matter are the phantoms of motion that emerge as simulated reality in percepts-concepts through a particular species of cosmic motion called the cognitive motion. The phenomenal universe is the grand illusion of motion of Light wherein the illusions of space-time-matter emerge through the cognitive motion of Consciousness. The photon is the phantom within space/time/matter of the complementary binary motion, the quantum of action-reaction, at the subatomic level, which expresses the primary cosmic Stillness through a rhythmic balanced interchange between action and reaction.

Actually, God is not Light. Light is that which we perceive which is most like God. From Light comes physical consciousness, matter and all activity. Thus from our perspective :

GOD IS LIGHT
