Chela class sets topics

                Offering a Sunday alternative to church sermons, New Age Chela Classes, 6418 S. 39th Avenue in Phoenix, announces the topics to be covered during April.

        Not quite a church and not quite a study group, the Chela Class is perhaps the most unusual group in the Valley.

        Teaching is Rev. Dr. John Rodgers, who says, “As a teacher, my goal is to empower you to move beyond the limitations imposed on you by the world.

        “Each of us creates our own life philosophy. But how can you create a worthwhile philosophy if your facts are in error.  All I want to do is to make sure your get your facts straight”

         Rev. Dr. Rodgers has spend over 50 years accumulating the knowledge that he shares with his students each week.

        Sunday April 4 the topic will be The Law of Karma.  How karma works and what you can do about it..

        Sunday April 11, The Inside the of the Bowl. Why cleaning the inside of the bowl is important and how to do it.

        Sunday April 18, How to be happy all the time.

        Sunday April 25, Think logically, Live intuitively. True science and true religion can never be in conflict.

        Classes are held each Sunday at 10:30 am. Refreshments served.
